As notified by UNESCO, the application dossier of Ly Son – Sa Huynh Geopark has passed the eligibility screening and now entered the official evaluation process.
On 16 January in Hanoi, Vietnam National Commission for UNESCO hosted a conference to looking back its performance in 2019 and planning for the year of 2020.
On 2 Jan 2020, a planning workshop for 2020 was held by the Management Board of Ly Son - Sa Huynh Geopark with the participation of nearly 30 members of the management board.
Just prior to a workshop of Ly Son – Sa Huynh Geopark, MOFA and UNESCO Natcom Chair Mr Le Hoai Trung worked with Quang Ngai on 17 June to review the geopark application progress.
On 1st March, Pham Van Dong University hosted a talk with experts from UNESCO Global Geoparks and Vietnam Geoparks Network, engaging 250 teachers and students.
